MyTicket Privacy Policy

Last updated: 26 August 2026

MyTicket collects no personal data. The app has no server of its own. Nothing you add to the app is ever sent to the developer or to any third party.

Who processes the data

The data controller is the app's developer, Emanuele Piersanti. For any question about this policy you can write to myticketapp@libero.it.

What the app handles, and where it stays

MyTicket stores the documents you add yourself: loyalty cards, tickets, receipts and travel documents, together with the information recognised inside them (name, date, place, amount, barcode) and the original file.

WhereWhatWho can access it
On your iPhoneAll documents and original filesOnly you
In your private iCloudThe same data, if iCloud is enabled, so you find it on your devicesOnly you, through your Apple Account

Syncing uses CloudKit's private database: the data stays inside your personal iCloud account. The developer cannot read it, receives no copy of it and has no means of accessing it.

What the app does not do

Permissions, and why they are requested

PermissionWhat it is for
CameraScanning a document. The images stay on the device.
PhotosImporting a document already in your library. The app reads only what you select.
Face ID / Touch IDLocking access to the app, if you turn the option on. Biometric data is handled by iOS and is never accessible to the app.

Content recognition

Text and barcode recognition happens entirely on your device, using Apple's system technologies (Vision and, where available and enabled, Apple Intelligence). No image and no text is ever sent to an external recognition service.

Retention and deletion

Data stays until you delete it. Deleting a document in the app also deletes its original file and its synced copy in iCloud. Uninstalling the app removes everything stored on the device; data held in iCloud can be removed from the iCloud settings of your Apple Account.

Your rights

Because the developer holds no data about you, the rights granted by the GDPR (access, rectification, erasure, portability, objection) are exercised directly on your device: the data is in your sole possession and you can view, edit, export or delete it at any time from within the app. You are welcome to write to the address above with any question.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data relating to them.

Changes

Any update to this policy will be published at this address, with the date of the latest revision shown at the top of the page.
